Site Links Audit Tool to Boost SEO

Created by Mark Alfon, Modified on Thu, 7 Nov at 11:44 AM by Mark Alfon

Meet the new audit tool we added to the SEO section in your Site Dashboard: Internal and External Links. These new additions let you review and optimize your internal and outbound site links, with an option to instantly fix any related issues we’ve found while scanning the links—all in one place.

See, identify, and fix—in an instant

The Internal and External Links audit tools aim to boost the productivity of your ongoing site optimization workflow. That means you can see, review, and fix any links that require your attention within seconds.

Have a broken link? You can get that link up and running quickly by setting up a URL Redirect or going to the editor to update the link manually right away. There, the linked element will be highlighted so you won’t need to search for it.

Eye-level SEO breakdown and action items

We’ve built these links SEO tools to offer industry-grade optimization capabilities, but removed the tech-y language and feel. We wanted to make this an easy to use tool that clearly shows you what’s going on with your site’s internal and external links and with quick ways to improve them, where needed.

In addition, you’ll easily see which page a link is found on and what widget it’s linked to, in the summary table in both the Internal and External Links tabs.

All your anchor text links are there, too

These link texts are especially important for accessibility for the purpose of facilitating the readability of screen readers, and of course for SEO, since Google crawls these links to better understand their connections, assess their credibility, and to index your site pages.
